The National Association of Black Hotel Owners, Operators & Developers (NABHOOD) was founded by Andy Ingraham and Solomon Herbert. The organization was formed in 1998 to assist with the development and increase the number of African American-owned hotels. Their mission is to increase the number of African Americans developing, managing, operating, and owning hotels; increase vendor opportunities & executive level jobs for minorities, thereby creating wealth within the African American community.
